I always felt as though Irene deserved another shot at love. Meeting a cute masseuse and having a surprise moment of passion with them felt right, seeing as how slowly but surely she's been trying to make changes to her life to make herself happy.

I was worried this would go way wrong when I saw that clinch in the third panel.

Awww that was so cute! Wow yeah this coulda gone many kinds of ways and I had quite a bit of tension there. Angela is so adorable and really seems compatible with the always lovely Irene.

As a former massage therapist this is really icky to me. I'm not saying that there shouldn't have been a hook up but you lose your license and the ability to get a license for things like this. It can be considered and charged as prostitution.

I'm sorry the scene made you feel that way. As you can probably guess, Roll To Save isn't necessarily grounded in 100% realism so our narratives are sometimes fanciful or romanticized to an extent. I'll mention this to Tailsteak and see if we can address this in a future strip.

It's not that the story isn't awesome. It is. It's just awkward that it started in the massage room. There are a lot of stereotypes about massage therapists.

Well I at least am happy that you think the story is awesome at least! But you also have a very good point, there are indeed quite a lot of stereotypes with the profession and admittedly, I wasn't thinking of them when writing for this arc. As fanciful and well-intentioned as the circumstances may be, I think it's important to recognize that this isn't normal or okay under realistic circumstances.
After all we here at Roll To Save want to make stories that our readers can enjoy thoroughly and if we accidentally make a misconception about something, we want to make things right!
