I love the irony I've written here. John was originally apprehensive about the wedding, having never been to one and knowing nobody but the bride, he was worried that the whole thing was going to feel socially awkward. However, with the recruitment of Iris and Roxanne, he felt more at ease. "Sure I'm not gonna know anyone there, but at least I got my friends!". Though of course, things go awry.
