A show of force is impressive but in my opinion, a show of self restraint and persistent diplomacy is much more impressive. Also, eating 15 Lunchables is not advisable in any way.

Speaking of personal restraint... Lunch-please-don't-eat-15-of-these-even-if-you-are-able.

Wait, John hasn't adapted Max's "mayhem points" for this setup? Dang.

Hehe I'm afraid not. I was actually thinking of doing something like that but I couldn't figure out how to incorporate that into the system since it's an already established one.

Shin, Shin no
Also, that poor, frazzled-looking Caitian in the first panel made me laugh, that's just a perfect expression!

Ah yes Shin. He's still practicing self control and focus the poor lad. Also honestly think poor P'Rah represents any one of us should we be thrown in an 'exploding console', 'camera shaking' situation' there XD

The admiral's name kept tickling my brain as someone not actually in the show but strongly connected to it, and Google-fu established he was a producer of many shows in the TNG universe.

Ey, that's some ace googling! Yup, he's one of the more... complicated producers in the TNG, DS9 and VOY universes. I say this because there are accounts of actors on those perspective shows noting that he could be difficult to work with. His name has also been canonically sprinkled throughout Trek media/lore as a Starfleet Admiral who never really physically appeared. So I figured why not? XD
