And the day is saved! Now, I know very well that odds are things may not unfold in this way in the real world. However, this is Roll To Save! And I'd like to think that once a particularly incriminating or morally bereft act is uncovered, a domino effect of karma occurs and the person responsible gets their just deserts. Though, is this the last time we hear from Dr. Withering??

I remember a Doonesbury cartoon where Zonker did that to Mike and Mike said he had a bad back and the next week's strips had Mike in a recliner while he recovered. Just sayng this is not the safest thing for Max to be doing.

Yeeaa, I'm inclined to agree. However, when Max gets excited... well... Max gets excited XD

Panel three: The broken Newton's Cradle is the best little throwaway gag I've seen in forever..
Second, JayJay's real name is Jane Jackson-Frei. I didn't know that?

We here at Roll To Save pride ourselves in nice little details! And yes, JayJay's real name is indeed Jane Jackson-Frei!

Jo and Max look awfully alike on this page... is there a (distant) relation or are they just both blonde guys with similar hair styles?

Jo and Max are very much not related. They're both blonde though Max is a more platinum blonde while Jo is a more natural blonde.

Truth be told, I was hoping there was a unexpected part 2 to the badguys plan. Wrapped up a little too nicely with her giving a monologue in the last comic.
I suppose the cartoonish vibes of some arcs clash with the heartwarming character moments of other stories. Still a net positive over all though and I look forward to more!

I do admit, this particular arc wasn't my strongest in regards to the writing. I just really wanted to see a genuinely bad person get their just deserts since we don't always get to see that in real life. Though unlike a lot of the characters in RTS, Dr. Withering isn't interested in redemption! Dun, dun, duuuun!

Aw. You didn't have the secretary page her about her insurance company wanting to speak with her on line one. Don't mess with insurance companies. They're like loansharks or pimps. They will get their money.

That gag did cross my mind but I figured she had enough to deal with. Plus, we all know insurance companies are the true embodiment of evil o.o
