Max may be on the other side of town but apparently she made quite an impact on someone besides John. I really like how this scene turned out. Not just because we get a better understanding on Max's character but also we see a little character development once a realization hits.
Jo will always be Jo but maybe now he'll be a little more mindful of his decisions.
